LOST!!

Yesterday I went for an interview @ Joo Koon Crescent, but don't know why I heard the caller telling me it's at Joo Koon Circle, so I took a cab to Joo Koon Circle.

It was a very ulu industrial area where no bus goes in and the nearest bus stop is about 1km away! When I reached there, I can't find the address!!! I got panicked, cos there is so ulu, no cab, no bus in sight, not even cars, only a few ah nei looking at me!!! ANd, I'm late, late didn't go doesn't matter, but now is I can't even find my way out of that place to get a cab or bus home!!!

Ok, never mind, I've decided to walk out to the main road and see if I can find any bus stop to go back to Jurong Point and as I walked, I called the co and tell them I"m lost in Joo Koon Circle. That lady was very nice, she guided me the way to her co. So, I've managed to walk out of that "desert" and reached her co for interview at 3pm. (My appt with her was supposed to be at 2.30pm) For your info, her co also not easy to go, also ulu, also no bus stop within 1 km radius. *faint*, so I walked in to her co and out of her co to take a bus. Can faint, but luckily there will be transport provided.

Yesterday was a very suay (bad luck) day for me. Before I went for the interview, I ran after 941 with my heels, then when I reached JP, as I walked to get a cab, I got scalded by a smoker with his cigarette, then while I'm lost in Joo Koon Circle, I got bitten by mosquito and when I'm about to reach the bus stop at Joo Koon Circle, I missed that bus. After my interview, I ran after that 252 also with many ppl watching me running and yet, didn't got on the bus (cos didn't make it) and guess what, the next bus arrived a few minutes later!!! Aido, like that I shouldn't have run liao lah..... no image man!!!

Ok, today, another interview, Jurong also and need to take the same 252 bus!!! Hope I won't get lost today, but I will taking cab to the co as I can only leave the house after my mum's back.

Busy Busy Busy

This week is very busy!!! Busy with cookies baking and interviews!! Luckily, I've got his niece to help me with the baking, so will be baking cornflakes cookies, many many kueh bangkit and pineapple tarts!!! See if I can add anything extra into my schedule....hiak hiak hiak.......

Facial

Finally had a chance to use my 1st facial from my package which I bought a year ago. I did a diamond peel which cost me 2 slots and now I'm left with 8 slots. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the facial very much and feel my skin so clean now. :P

Oh, that day I went for the interview at Comtech? Heng ah, I managed to reach that place safely. I must also thank God, cos that day, I alighted 2 bus stops earlier and it was drizzling, so I heck care and started walking towards my destination. As I walked, the rain gets smaller and eventually stopped, then later when I'm about to reach the lobby, it started pouring again, but I'm safe.

I arrived at 3.30pm, but I waited till almost 4.30pm for my interview, can you imagine? I sat at a very comfortable chair, in a very comfortable environment and I almost fell asleep!!! The interview didn't last very long, ended at 5.30pm and it was sooooo crowded at the bus stop. Luckily my bus came not long after that. Conclusion? I doubt I will get the job and even though I'm selected, I may consider also, too demanding and based on the demand and working hours, my asking pay cannot compensate that man.

Have another interview on Tuesday at Science Park, shall see how.

Interviews

Hiaz, today was a busy day. Went out for half a day with high heels!! Long time never wear heels for so long liao.

I went to Career Trend for interview and later have lunch with Esther, follow by next interview @ Emerson Process. I hope I can get the job at Emerson as it is near my mum's place and the environment is good, but....no career advancement :P But nevertheless, I'm only looking for a job that pays me well :)

Tomorrow still got another interview @ Comtech. Now headache, dunno how to get there..... ULU Place again. Not quite interested in this job as it's a 5.5 days work and it will be at Jurong Island!!!! Superly Ulu and it's long working hours......think the remueration package cannot compensate that man!

Kueh Bangkit 2

Hee, today I baked Kueh Bangkit again, cos still got left over coconut milk, don't want to waste....

Kueh Bangkit

Ok, today a bit free, cos next week I have 1 whole stretch of event the whole week waiting for me. :P I've baked some kueh bangkit for CNY, 4 tubs, 1 for my mum, 1 for Jeanlina and 2 tubs for Mary :)

Did once before, but wasn't very successful as the cookies were not thick enough and kept breaking, so today, I've used a new mould, bought from Daiso to make these cookies and the effects are better.

This is how I packed it, hope it's nice with the word "Wang"...hahaha.... Hope everyone, my blog visitors, my friends, my relatives and those I don't know, "WANG WANG!!!" This coming year, we all shall have a "WANG WANG" Year!!!! 4D, Toto, Big Sweep, lucky draw...everything "soon soon ah!!" :)
